Although this is a film of disaster that nobody takes seriously, few know that just six months ago a 25 meter wide asteroid failed to collide with the Earth by just 8,700 miles. It is a similar distance which orbit many satellites. In may, a 40-yard-wide asteroid missed Earth by only 38,000 miles.
